Deer season is over so clean those deer rifles and put them in the safe, But don't put away your shot gun. Duck, quail and rabbits seasons are still in. Now the time to take a kid hunting and teach them safety and conservation.

Duck hunting was fair this early season. Hunter have harvested a few Mallards on the Santee Lakes. In the Creeks and swamps hunters have harvested a few wood ducks. still waiting on the cold weather

Down on the Grandstrand fisherman are catching several nice redfish on popping corks with shrimp as bait.

Deric Hanna with the Outdoor Dreams Foundation harvested his first South Carolina Black Bear on film for the SC outdoors TV show. Look for the show to air near the end of November!

I went spear fishing with camera man Rich Taylor, Kent Roberson and Ari Relford. We brought back some large flounder,grouper and a lobster. We also saw several different species of fish along with a sea turtle and a golith grouper that weighed around 3-4 hundred lbs. This is going to be a great show,look for it soon!
